The system is engineered to reduce pull weight by approximately 2 lbs (depending on factory tolerances) while providing shorter over-travel and a more detectable trigger reset. All included components work together to keep pull weight within an acceptable range for a top-end service pistol. Armorer or gunsmith installation of the Ultimate Striker Block (USB) into the Shield slide is strongly recommended.
