Built on Berger’s secant-ogive VLD profile, it is designed to penetrate approximately 2–3 inches before initiating rapid expansion for a large wound cavity. VLD Hunting bullets share the same core design as VLD Target bullets, but use a thinner J4 Precision jacket to promote fast, effective expansion on game.
