The CVA Blackhorn Quick Release Breech Plug (QRBP) is a stainless-steel replacement breech plug designed to improve reliability and simplify maintenance when shooting Blackhorn 209 and other loose powder muzzleloading propellants. After the initial fitting to your rifle’s barrel (fitting tool required/provided per manufacturer/retailer listings), the QRBP is designed for tool-free installation and removal, making field takedown and cleaning faster and easier. Compatible with CVA Accura (including Accura V2), Optima, and Wolf muzzleloader models made after 2010; it is not compatible with CVA Apex models.
