Hornady’s Dangerous Game Bonded Series line of ammunition line is designed to deliver hard hitting accuracy when you’re on safari hunting large and dangerous game. This cartridge is loaded with the Hornady Dangerous Game eXpanding Bonded Bullet. The DGX Bonded are built to the same profile as the regular DGX but expand to 1.5x to 2x their bullet diameter. The bonded projectiles feature a copper-clad steel jacket bonded to a lead core to provide controlled expansion along with deep penetration and high weight retention. The Bonding process prevents separation from high energy impacts on tough material like bone ensuring the projectile stays together.
