The Hornady Lock-N-Load Headspace Comparator helps you measure and compare case headspace before and after firing or resizing to support consistent brass setup, improved accuracy potential, extended brass life, and safer resizing practices. This kit includes a comparator body and five interchangeable bushings designed to cover most bottleneck rifle cartridges from .17 Remington through large belted magnums. Bushings mount to the comparator body and attach to calipers, allowing you to measure from the case head to the datum line on the case shoulder for repeatable headspace comparisons. Ackley Improved chambers use the same bushing size as the parent case.
