Speer’s Gold Dot G2 Ammunition is designed with the G2 Projectile. The Speer Gold Dot G2 is designed with a shallow dish instead of a large hollow point, this dish is filled with a high performance polymer elastomer. On impact with a target the polymer is forced into engineered fissure to start the expansion process which results in extremely uniform expansion, better separation of petals and better barrier penetration across different types of barriers through full sized handguns.
