Springfield Armory took the single action (SAO) .45ACP 1911, a professional-grade weapon, and made it into the legendary TRP (Tactical Response Pistol). Built for fierce reliability and suited for defense and combat applications, this CA Compliant 1911 TRP starts with a select fit forged steel frame and slide. From that robust foundation, the pistol is equipped and finished in exacting detail. The 5″ stainless steel barrel is Match Grade. The slide is fitted with dovetailed steel Tritium night sights, and features front and rear cocking serrations. The frame features extended beavertail, grip safety, ambidextrous thumb safety, lightened hammer and trigger, and checkering on front- and backstrap. The rugged Black Cerakote finish on the exposed metal is complemented by gray and black G10 Grips.
