Its low-profile locking mechanism delivers excellent strength and stability, while the ventilated aluminum construction helps disperse heat so it runs cooler than many close-to-the-barrel rail systems. For flexible accessory setup, the Alpha Rail provides extensive mounting options and ships with detachable rail sections plus mounting hardware. It works with a standard AR-15/M16 barrel nut (barrel nut not included) and is not compatible with the TRX barrel nut or wrench.
